Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I am delighted to extend to you a warm invitation to actively participate in the ENERGEX 2008 Congress & Exhibition to be held in Vienna, Austria from 6th to 10th July 2008.
Under the title "Energy for Human Development and the Protection of the Environment", this important event will serve as a brilliant platform for experts with diverse economical, political and technological backgrounds to focus on the question of how energy can be used to stimulate human and social development in all parts of the world. ENERGEX 2008 will pay special attention to the problem of access to energy and equity in its distribution for developing countries.Leading the way to the production of renewable energy and being home to many international organisations and companies dealing with energy related issues, Austria is a superb place for the energy community to gather. The former imperial city of Vienna - which has become the home of many international entities with energy in their mandates - will be a propitious setting for participating in a rich scientific programme and exploring the wonders of the local culture. Furthermore, we shall be able to strengthen old friendships and create new ones.
