CARBON OFFSET
ENERGEX 2008 REDUCES ITS CARBON FOOTPRINT!
Laying special emphasis on Energy for Human Development and the Protection of the Environment, ENERGEX 2008 has committed itself to minimize its anthropogenic interference with the climate system. The Local Organizing Committee, together with the Scientific Committee have therefore decided to include an obligatory carbon offset fee in each registration, so as to allow for offsetting travel-related greenhouse gases emissions. The funds collected will be used to purchase Emission Certificates.
